Matrix99 a.s. today announced the availability of aiLake.3MDER
in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace, an online store providing applications and services for use on Azure. Matrix99 a.s. customers can now take advantage of the productive and trusted Azure cloud platform, with streamlined deployment and management.
Matrix99 a.s. is an end-to-end energy efficiency solution provider. The company was founded in 1999 with its headquarters in Prague, Czech Republic, merging people and a knowledge base from telco and power engineering sectors. Since its creation, Matrix99 a.s. has enabled suitable commercial and non-commercial entities to apply energy efficiency, using less energy to provide the same level of energy service. Matrix99’s aiLake.3MDER enables the monitoring and management of consumption, cogeneration, and storage for electricity, water, gas and heat.

The Azure Marketplace is an online market for buying and selling cloud solutions certified to run on Azure. The Azure Marketplace helps connect companies seeking innovative, cloud-based solutions with partners who have developed solutions that are ready to use.
Currently, Matrix99 has plans for two types of customers. The aiLake.3MDER.ESCO plan is for customers that monitor, manage, and optimize their own consumption, including cogeneration and storage (industrial and public areas/buildings) or ESCO (energy services companies). The aiLake.3MDER.DSO plan is for companies that meter the consumption of commercial consumers (customers) for billing purposes, as a part of utility companies (distribution service operators – DSOs) or as a service for such companies (metering/billing providers). These two plans can be combined, enabling their users to provide full set of services for modern smart grids. The solution is implemented using .NET technology and Azure services in cloud and/or edge versions and is easy to customize according to customer needs. This customization can be done by Matrix99 or by customers themselves using standard technologies. The main technologies used are:
- ASP.NET 6.0 for the front end (portal)
- Azure Data Factory for collection of usage and generation meter data and events
- Microsoft Power BI to surface business and technical insights
- Azure Synapse and Microsoft Power BI for ML/AI predictions
- DTWIN<-> CIM for integration with technical applications
- DTWIN <-> CDM entities for integration with business applications
- DTWIN <-> BIM entities for integration with resources (building) management systems
